Leagues

About Our Leagues

We have 3 leagues throughout the year: Summer League, Fall Fun League, and Winter. All leagues take place on Tuesday evenings. Shooters must be members to participate. The leagues are only as competitive as the shooters make them. Most join to have fun shooting and to enjoy the company of other shooters. We accept shooters of all abilities. Participants should be at least 18 years of age, but younger shooters can join if they shoot with family, have some shooting experience, and have an accepted form of training / membership.

Summer League

Our summer league is our largest league. It is organized as a traditional trap league with 5 person teams. Each team shoots two rounds. The first round is shot at 16 yards and the 2nd at the handicap yardage. The league runs for 16 weeks starting in May and ending in August. Prizes are given to winning shooters at the end of the season at our annual meeting and picnic.  

Fall Fun League

The Fall Fun League is just that, fun! This is not done in the traditional format. This league consists of two-person teams and runs for 8 weeks. Only one round is shot. A different event is shot each week. Hunt and Cover, Sit Down, Wobbles and 5 Stand are just a few of the events. 

Winter Tough League

This is an untraditional league similar to our fall league. Two person teams shoot different events each week for 8 weeks.  Only 1 round is shot. The main difference is that it is done during the coldest months of the year, January and February. You have to be tough to shoot this one!  Unless the temps dip below -30*, we shoot!
