Minocqua Gun Club
The Minocqua Gun Club is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) sports club run by a board of directors consisting of 10 volunteers. This group, along with help from many of the club's members, provides activities and learning opportunities in shooting sports, such as trap shooting, to the people of the Lakeland area.
Fun and Learning
While safety is the most important part of the target shooting experience, so is having fun. One-on-one and small group instructional opportunities are available to adults interested in first-time shooting or improving their shooting skills. When a shooter is comfortable with their abilities, they may choose to join one of our leagues. The leagues are open to all abilities and provide a social environment for having fun. Check out our latest news, calendar and leagues pages for more info.
Focus On Area Youth
We provide learning opportunities to the youth in our area. We provide a junior trap experience for 10 to 17-year-old students during the summer months. We also host the Lakeland Union High School Trap Team and provide 2 $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors.
