Hunter Safety and Junior Trap
These programs are offered simultaneously starting in May. They are designed for ages 10-18. Hunter safety is a 3-week in-person course with the field component built in. A student must complete the hunter safety requirement before moving on to Junior Trap. If the student already has his/her hunter safety certificate, they can start right away with Junior Trap.
Junior Trap runs for 10 weeks. Students learn the fundamentals of trap shooting with the help of volunteer instructors. Much attention is given to safety while making it an enjoyable experience for all. Junior trap is offered by the club free of charge to participants. This is made possible through many generous donations.
Other Hunter Safety Information
Certified instructors are in short supply. We are currently only able to offer this program one time in May. If this short window does not work for you, then obtaining the certificate online might be a better option. We are not able to offer the Internet Class Field Day at our range due to the lack of instructors available. Below are links to the online program:

Adult Programs
We do occasionally offer trap and skeet learning opportunities to adults who are new to shooting sports or who want to improve their shooting skills. These are usually offered during the warmer months of the year. Check our Latest News page or follow us on social media for upcoming events.
Self Defence for Adults
Self defence classes are also offered at our club through Firearm Proficiency and Safety Training LLC. Classes range from basic handguns to home defense and defensive shooting fundamentals. Click on the link for more information including class schedules.
There are opportunities for kids and adults alike! Find out what is currently happening.
