Whether you're a beginner or an experienced clay shooter, Minocqua Gun Club has something to offer you.The public is welcome to shoot at our facility. Stop by and check us out! You can contact us by phone at 715-358-3476 or click on the contact tab at the top of the page if you would like to send an email. If your group is planning a visit to the Minocqua area and looking for an activity that everyone can participate in, we'd be glad to host your outing. We offer youth and adult gun/hunter education opportunities during our summer season. Check back frequently to find out when these opportunities are scheduled. We also have a new rifle/pistol range available to members.

Our clubhouse is ideal for anniversaries, birthdays, family reunions and other social gatherings / meetings of 80 to 100 people.The available counter space will accommodate 20 Nesco roasters along with a bar area for serving beverages. The Minocqua Gun Club offers Trap and skeet on a group basis by reservation. If your group is planning a visit to the Minocqua area, consider spending some time shooting clay targets at the Minocqua Gun Club. We're looking forward to seeing you.


Sunday from Noon - 5:00 p.m.

Tuesday from 5:00 - 8:00.  This is league night. The public is welcome after league shooting is done.  

Thursday from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Rifle/Pistol range hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Noon to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays. .

May 1 is the start of our 2016 summer season!

Our summer hours will start to include Tuesdays from 5-8.  

New  memberships for both trap and skeet and the rifle range will begin.  To renew, either stop in to the club or print a form off this website and mail it in.  

*Junior Trap starts at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4.  This is for ages 10-18 (Highschool Seniors).  Shooters must have hunter safety.  There is NO COST.  Guns, shells, and safety equipment are all provided.

*Hunter Safety starts at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 4.  This is for anyone ages 10 and up.  There is a $10 fee that goes to the state of Wisconsin.  

Senior Trap League will begin Tuesday, May 3rd. Get your 4-5 person teams together.  You don't have to be a great shooter.  Just come and have fun, improve your skills, and enjoy the company of other shooters.

Mission Statement

Our Mission is to operate a not for profit, educational and training facility for the benefit of the Lakeland area residents and visitors. Our endeavors shall include providing all the facilities necessary for hunter's safety curricula and junior trapshooting. As members, we continue to pursue the ideals and merits of sportsmanship, friendly competition and goodwill as a common bond.
